Our Mission
CLG Justice Foundation dba Canada Legal Guidance is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to justice and the advancement of legal education in Canada. We provide free and/or low-cost and subsidized legal educational resources to help individuals and small businesses understand their legal rights and responsibilities as they apply across Canada. Activities may include: (1) hosting free and/or low-cost and subsidized 30-minute online information sessions on common legal topics (such as employment, landlord/tenant, contracts, and small claims); (2) developing and publishing plain-language legal guides and educational materials accessible to the public; (3) organizing community workshops, webinars, and outreach programs that promote legal literacy in Canada; (4) collaborating with volunteer lawyers, law students, and community organizations to expand public access to reliable legal information; and (5) using technology platforms and online tools to make legal information widely available across Canada.
By leveraging technology and innovation, we aim to bridge the gap between the complexities of the legal system and the people who need it most. The ultimate goal is to equip these clients with the necessary information so that they may effectively navigate the issue on their own. However, Canada Legal Guidance does not provide legal representation or legal advice and does not represent clients on any specific file mandates. Instead, we offer general legal information and guidance to further our access-to-justice mission in Canada.
Our History
Canada Legal Guidance was established by Sam Khajeei, a lawyer with more than 10 years experience practicing law and qualified in multiple provinces across Canada, Texas and New York to address a growing need for accessible legal resources. Understanding that legal challenges can often feel overwhelming and costly, we created a platform that provides individuals with the tools and guidance to support them as they navigate their legal concerns. If any online information sessions are held they will always be staffed by individuals qualified to provide such advice. In some instances, Sam Khajeei will be available to conduct such appointments personally.
For clarity, Canada Legal Guidance does not provide legal advice or representation and does not act as lawyer or legal counsel of record in respect of any its clients or in connection with any of its appointments booked through this website. Our focus is on empowering individuals and small businesses across Canada to make more informed decisions about their legal matters and, where necessary, provide guidance in such respects. We cover a broad range of legal topics, including but not limited to, business law, business sales or purchases, cease and desist letters, contract law, criminal law (coming soon), disputes about loans/debts, employment, family law (coming soon), franchisors/franchisees, immigration law (coming soon), landlord/tenant, lease agreements, personal injury (coming soon), small claims litigation (i.e. <$100,000 in value) and trademarking. Our remote-first model eliminates geographic barriers, allowing clients from rural, urban, or underserved areas across Canada to access high-quality legal guidance.
